Hot Stone Therapy

The heat from hot stones warm and relax tight muscles tendons and ligaments, which can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation. They can be used as an extension of the hands, or by placing them on key points while other parts of the body are massaged.

The hot stones can also expand blood vessels to improve circulation and "energy flow" throughout the body, aiding in detoxification, stimulating the immune system and improving digestion. This therapy is deeply relaxing and helps your body recuperate from daily fatigue.

The stones are sanitised and immersed in water and heated in an electric heater until they are within a certain temperature range. The placement of the stones is usually at specific points on the back, in the palms of the hand, or between the toes but may vary depending on the client's requirements.
